Description
This light certainly doesn’t belong in a barn, but that’s where we think it spent many years of its life before it was restored. It was a real bucket of rust, with broken and bent sockets, stringy cloth wire and a passel of dirt. But the Barn has a new lease on life and is ready for a new home! We’ve opted for a two-tone surface to this light: the base is done in an oil-rubbed bronze (which honestly is more black than bronze) and a satin bronze (gold) for the center stem. The points under each candle holder and the lower decorative pendant are solid brass. The base of the Barn is cast iron and is stamped L.A.P., patent pending. It’s a heavy piece, clocking in at almost 10 pounds. The candlesticks are five inches tall; the chandelier is just over 17 inches wide and has a drop of 32 inches. She is in excellent condition after the restoration!
