The Brass Swag Chandelier brings together several unique elements in one classy antique light. Its five serpentine arms and hefty socket hoods are attention grabbers on their own. But add in heavy cast bobeches, an oversize chain and tassel, and cast brass “cups” that hug the upper and lower portions of this chandelier—not to mention that delicate brass drape–and you’ve got a real statement piece. The Brass Swag retains its original bronze-colored paint that’s in generally good condition. There are minor spots of discoloration here and there, both on the paint and the brass. Note that the pressed brass tassel has some separation and that part of the ceiling cap is misshapen from earlier neglect. This light has a 43-inch drop and is about 20 inches wide. Despite some minor condition issues, the Brass Swag Chandelier is a looker that will draw admiration in any room it graces.
