Description
The Brothers Grimm Chandelier is named for the fairy-tale-worthy face impressed in this antique light’s upper finial. It’s a compact piece, perfect for a smaller room, that would provide plenty of illumination with its five lights. The Brothers Grimm has a distressed, black-painted finish that’s in good condition. But be aware–this chandelier does have one wonky arm, the bottom portion of which rises up higher than the others. (Note that this arm can be seen at the front of all the pictures.) With its dark finish and ghoulish face, we find it rather ironic that it features quaint little flower baskets on each arm, filled with red and blue flowers. This motif is continued into the bottom finial, and unique socket covers and bobeches provide the final flourishes. The Brothers Grimm has a drop of about 34 inches and is about 18 inches wide. It’s made of cast brass and is a heavy piece, clocking in at about 13 pounds. A petite matching pendant to this light will be listed soon.
