The Cinderella was certainly one ugly little duckling when we found it at a Portland estate sale, its dull brown finish scuffed and scraped beyond repair. With little to lose, we stripped its paint to find lovely brass tubing for its centerpiece and silver-colored aluminum on its socket hoods and bobeches. With the addition of a few shiny crystals, this antique chandelier has new spark and shimmer! (We really are thrilled with the results!) This antique measures 19 inches across and has a drop of about 31 inches. Its surface is good, although not perfect; some tiny spots of discoloration can be found on the tubing and some of the soldering used for connecting the piece shows through. There’s also a small dent in the ceiling cap. The bottom covering cap and the bobeches will be removed for shipping. Like the fairy tale it’s named for, The Cinderella’s silver and gold color scheme has that timeless appeal, making it the perfect fit for either an antique or modern decor.
